How did you get inspired to become a filmmaker?
I was six years old and my mother show me an old rusty reel of a Walt Disney film and she explained to me how the magic of motion happened. I remember looking at each frame and seeing how little by little Mickey Mouse was changing positions. It is hard to explain why but right there at that moment I felt in love with film.
What is your favorite part about the short film form?
You can tell a scene, a story or anything without having to comply with the beginning middle and end paradigm, and it works!
Who were the people that supported the making of this film?
My two friends in the film, my family and neighbors for putting up with hours of laughs, my brother for lending me his mattress because it was bigger than mine and my grandmother for lending me her glasses.

What resources do you use as a filmmaker? Music, locations, props, editing, crew, etc.
All of the above. Music for me is 50% of the movie. And the importance of editing is enormous. However I film my movies in my head first, I imagine every single shot in my head, I make drawings as I envision the way the camera is gonna move in detail and with precision and then edit in my head to see if it is going to work before even beginning post production.
What is your next project?
To distribute my independent feature film which I produced, directed, edited and acted in it. And with the profits make another one.
The independent film business is a difficult one. What keeps you motivated? Where do you see the industry going in the future?
Just the love and the passion to sharing a story told by the magic of film and all of its elements.
Which filmmakers, artists or individuals have most influenced your work?
Alfred Hitchcock, Orson Wells, Rosellini, Federico Fellini, Walt Disney, Steven Spielberg, John Carpenters and Tony Scott.
What advice would you give new filmmakers?
Film, film and then film again. Do not talk too much about film but make movies. And most importantly never ever be afraid of failing. The only way to fail is not to try. Always laugh in the process and take it seriously but do not take it seriously “It is only a Movie”
