Who are you and what’s your filmmaking background?
My name is Nicolas Villarreal and Nieta is my second short animated film. Pasteurized was my first one.
What are you working on right now?
We just started a new short film and we are in the pre-production of a feature film.
What are you promoting?
What do you want the audience to take away from your films?
I would like the audience to feel the film and get a connection with the characters and the story which I believe is one of the hardest things to accomplish.
What’s your best advice for an aspiring filmmaker?
To finish their projects. Animated shorts as well as features take a long time. I think it is very important to complete the projects that you start because it gives you a sense of accomplishment and confidence.
