Introducing Paris Bread, intern and all-around awesome guy at The Audience Awards.
1. Who are you?
My name is Paris Bread. I am a student at the University of Montana and an intern for The Audience Awards.
2. What’s the best part about working for The Audience Awards?
I do an array of different things for The Audience Awards but I love that I get to be apart of making something great.
3. Tell us the why you’re excited about what The Audience Awards is building.
The Audience Awards gives independent filmmakers a voice and a place to get their films out there. The Audience Awards also offers filmmakers invaluable feedback from the community.
4. Tell us something bizarre about yourself.
I love weightlifting and going to the gym.
5. Do you have a favorite film on the site?
“Reel View” is an ingenious way of looking into the mind and the past of what seems to be a broken man. Changing the speed of people walking from slow to normal is an excellent way to portray that maybe a person meant something in his life and is not just a moment of someone passing through it. The audio of the film complements what is happening visually. All around a great film.
6.What’s an entertainment trend you love right now?
I love the style of David Fincher and the films that he makes. All of his films have a certain darkness to them that make them so appealing. My favorite band right now would be Wovenwar — a new metal band that has the potential to be amazing. I am also rereading one of my favorite books “The Giver” before that movie comes out. And I can not wait for the new OS from Apple: Yosemite.
7. Name a few people who inspire you.
My mom, an amazing artist and person. Dan Molloy, who inspired me to start my filmmaking career. Steve Jobs, because he reminds me to “think different.”
