Ausfilm connects filmmakers worldwide to Australia.

What makes your film commission unique?

Ausfilm is an Australian industry-government partnership and has offices in Sydney and Los Angeles, USA.  Ausfilm is supported by Australia’s Federal and State governments, the major sound stages and leading post, sound and VFX studios and production service providers.  Ausfilm promotes Australia’s screen production incentives, crews, talent, locations, sound stages, production services, post/VFX facilities and creatives internationally. Ausfilm also creates business opportunities between its membership of screen industry companies and international filmmakers through marketing campaigns, global events, client inbound programs and worldwide targeted producer-to-producer business meetings.  Ausfilm has 35 government agencies and private enterprise businesses as part of its membership.

Legendary & Universal’s Skull Island: Reign of Kong recently filmed in QLD.

Website – Ausfilm Post & Sound Campaign website

Ausfilm’s campaign website was developed to promote Australia’s Post/Digital/VFX Offset, and the benefits of working with Australian post, sound and VFX companies. This website clearly provides clients with case studies so they can quickly tell how much it will cost their production in Australia.

Showreel – Ausfilm post, sound and VFX Showreel

The Ausfilm Post, Sound and VFX showreel was part of Ausfilm’s marketing mix in its post and sound campaign. It provides an excellent example of the outstanding calibre of work coming out of Australia’s VFX and post companies.

Promotional Swag – Ausfilm Caps

Because when you’re on set in sunny Australia producers, directors and crew need to be shaded from the hot Aussie sun.

This comprehensive publication showcases all that Australia offers international filmmakers. It is an editorial magazine featuring engaging articles about Australia’s VFX companies, post and sound companies and interviews international producers who work all over the world and speak highly of Australia’s ability to service any sized budget production.

Australia can compete with all the leading international filming locations like the USA, UK and Canada, however mix in the hardworking and good-humoured personalities of our cast and crew, diverse locations, a safe cosmopolitan environment, world-renowned wine, easy living and beautiful weather – it seems like the best choice there is!
