Founder & CEO
Paige Williams knows firsthand that one film can change hearts and minds. Williams’ first feature documentary “Mississippi Queen”—that examined how one loves their family when everyone fundamentally disagrees—was screened in over 100 film festivals and won many audience awards. Her second feature documentary, “From Place to Place,” created impact on a state and national level—leading to one of the most significant pieces of national child welfare reform legislation in the past 50 years. Williams founded AudPop in 2013 to connect filmmakers to opportunities to create more change in the world—and since, AudPop has been recognized by Entrepreneur, Forbes, and Inc. magazines for its innovation.
Nichelle S. Carr
Nichelle S. Carr, the Chief Content Officer at AudPop, believes a story well told can change the world. Carr is a creative executive and producer with global film distribution and marketing expertise. Her varied expertise and passions are reflected in her work and where it’s taken her to: media, finance, and technology in Europe and the U.S.; human rights advocacy in Nigeria; and economic development and education in Senegal. Prior to AudPop, Carr was a Vice President at Universal Pictures in both London and Los Angeles, and has deep experience in complex cross-border transactions.
Leland Johnson, AudPop’s Chief Technical Officer, is a talented visionary and exceptional problem solver with a track record of accomplishments as a senior manager and technologist. He possesses strong and current technical skills in C#, .Net, Java/Android, and MS-SQL; as well as business and insurance industry experience spanning from small to complex geographically diverse organizations. He’s also an expert at implementing organizational improvements through the effective utilization of technology.
Jason Bowman is AudPop’s Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Operations Officer. He opens the line of communication between clients, customers, and businesses to align collaborative objectives. With over 20 years in the media and advertising industry, Bowman has experience in sales management, business development, strategic implementation, mergers and acquisitions, and company collaboration. He has managed both large-sized media relationships and media teams with National Geographic and Viacom, as well as across several media start-up organizations.
Advising Head of Finance
Denise Crayne is an experienced business professional with a demonstrated history of working in the media and entertainment industry. She is exceptionally skilled in corporate and operational FP&A, controllership, deal modeling and review, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and revenue recognition. At AudPop, Crayne is currently responsible for FP&A, controllership, enterprise risk management, and IT management and strategy. She’s experienced in system implementations and overall management initiatives.
SVP, National Sales
As SVP of National Sales, Beth Grossman leads brand sales and strategic partnerships for AudPop. She has over 20 years of experience in media sales and management, representing both the publisher and tech platform sides of the business at large media companies—including Fox Broadcasting, WebMD, and tech startups such as Sharethrough and Aki Technologies. When she’s not working, you’ll find her relishing in the L.A. sunshine with her pup Chuy, trying the newest and coolest restaurants, enjoying live music, and of course, a basketball game.
Head of Marketing
Talie Grill-Knutson is AudPop’s Head of Marketing. She’s a strategic and creative marketer with 14 years in the entertainment and travel industries. With a focus on integrated, digital, and social media marketing, she has created multi-platform marketing campaigns for brands such as MTV, Disney, and Princess Cruises. Talie is a Los Angeles native, and currently lives in Santa Clarita, CA. When not hard at work, you’ll find her spending quality time with her husband and two little kids or on a tennis court.
VP, West Coast Sales
Since 2004, Scott Riddell has worked for influential brands and publishers like AOL, Rachel Zoe, iHeartRadio, and SpinMedia. At AudPop, he’s helping lead brand sales conversations as VP of the West Coast. At his core, Riddell believes in the art of storytelling through innovative media. He considers himself merely a nomad in this magnificent world and documents all his travels through photography on his own travel site since 2010. Back home in Los Angeles, he enjoys exploring the city with his faithful rescue and taking advantage of all the city’s unique neighborhoods, art scene, tacos, and margarita offerings.
VP, Midwest Sales
Nick Janning has over a decade of experience selling digital media solutions to both brands and agencies, as well as selling an array of omni-channel products for major ad networks. Based in Chicago as VP of Brand Partnerships in the Midwest, Janning utilizes his network to create interest and drive future brand partnerships for AudPop. He believes, now more than ever, there’s a substantial need for real genuine content. Alongside an ever-growing team and vision of CEO Paige Williams, he’s confident in AudPop’s position in-market. In his spare time, he stays busy being Dad to his three young kids.
