Don’t miss out on the chance to win $1,000 – only 3 days left to enter an LGBTQ film!

July 29, 2014

The deadline to submit films for the Up and Left online competition is Thursday, July 31.

Have you heard the news?  The Pride Foundation is sponsoring The Audience Awards’ latest online film competition, called Up and Left.  But time is running out for filmmakers to submit their short LGTBQ-related films — the deadline to enter is July 31st.

Here are the details: films can be fiction or  non-fiction, and must be 15 minutes or less. Filmmakers can submit their film online for the bargain price entry fee of $20.  The online competition will run from Monday August 4 until Monday August 18. The film with the most votes on August 18 at 11:59 pm MST wins.

This exciting competition provides filmmakers with invaluable exposure, and also helps raise awareness and visibility of LGBTQ issues.  “The Audience Awards is a great avenue for us filmmakers, student filmmakers and all filmmakers to get our work shown,” says Dan Malloy, previous competitor in the Cat vs. Griz competition.

We can’t wait to see what audiences say about the films that roll in for the Up and Left competition.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity to put your film in the running, and let your friends know about this chance to submit their LGBTQ-centric films, too!
