Films by Women & About Women: Women In Film

February 18, 2021

Looking for more authentic films by Women and about Women? Look no further than Women In Film, Los Angeles. We have worked with Women in Film over the years by creating film opportunities on AudPop for Female and non-binary filmmakers to win money and mentorship for their short films and careers.

Women In Film‘s first AudPop film challenge was in partnership with Chloe Wine Collection and recognized and rewarded five female filmmakers putting women at the center of the story. Prizes included professional mentorship and a $10,000 cash prize. The outcome? Some amazing shorts created by Female filmmakers:

More recently, In the spirit of keeping filmmaking alive, and to capture this moment of profound interconnectivity, Women In Film, ReFrame and IMDbPro joined forces in support of filmmakers during COVID-19. This team of brands sought to encourage filmmakers to stay productive, creative, and inspired while abiding by measures taken to tackle the spread of the virus. Together the Curbside Shorts Filmmaking Challenge was created on AudPop. This challenge called Female and non-binary North American filmmakers to create two-minute films shot in one week while social distancing. $10,000 was awarded to the winning films. Here are the winning, social distanced films:
