Animation film experts curate the top contenders in the Animation Film Festival
Animation (according to Wikipedia) creates the illusion of motion and change with a quick show of a sequence of static images, each slightly different from the one that came before. This is a pretty dry explanation for an art that spans the Disney to Norshteyn spectrum. Audience Awards recognizes that animated films can be as fun as Pixar’s For the Birds or as achingly beautiful as Charlie Kaufman and Duke Johnson’s Anomalisa.
Our Animation Film Festival seeks short films under 30 minutes, that show the many iterations of animation. The jury is made up of seasoned professionals and animation experts. We’d love for you to meet them.
