We dare you to watch some of the scariest horror films from AudPop filmmakers

October 28, 2020

Happy Halloween from AudPop!

Grab yourself some Halloween candy and enjoy some of our staff’s favorite horror films.

Let’s see if you can handle these…

The Gate

Written by Matt Westrup, ‘The Gate‘ follows a government inquiry into a suspected outbreak of a new virulent strain of rabies. As the investigation proceeds it becomes clear that the bizarre nature off the condition has a much more worrying origin.

Devil’s Passenger

Written & Directed by Dave Bundtzen, ‘The Devil’s Passenger‘ is about Lauren (Colleen Kelly) who witnesses what she thinks is a kidnapping of Shannon (Gabrielle Niebauer) in a white cargo van. Unable to call the police, Lauren follows the van. This soon leads her down a road of terror.

Kookie

Created by Justin Harding, ‘Kookie’ is about a dishonest 9-year-old girl named Bree, who receives a terrifying visitor after a parenting lesson goes horribly wrong.

Balloon

Balloon‘ was created by Mitchell Slan. Penny and her therapist battle her phobia of balloons through psychological experimentation. However, it’s not the balloon itself… it’s the clown-like serial killer it represents.

The Last Bite

From AudPop Holiday Film Festival winner, Ashley Seering. In the midst of a global pandemic, a very paranoid vampire orders contactless food delivery.

We hope you enjoyed those! You can check out all the frights at our Horror Shorts Playlist on Flipboard!
