Bridger Cup Event announces an open call for entries for drone short films.
The Audience Awards invites filmmakers to gain invaluable exposure and cash prizes.
The Audience Awards, along with the Bridger Cup Drone Film Festival, is hosting a video contest where filmmakers from all over the world are invited and encouraged to submit short drone films. The primary goal of The Bridger Cup event is to raise awareness of the beneficial and productive applications of the drone technology as promising tools to be embraced and welcomed by all members of the public. This Film Festival is proudly presented and sponsored by the Montana Film Office and Birds Eye of Big Sky LLC. The films are to be 120 seconds or less. Any videos about drones, or filmed partially with drones are eligible to compete.

The first annual Bridger Cup is a competition, exhibition and celebration of drones held in Bozeman, Montana, September 18th – 19th, 2015. The Bridger Cup is hosted by Bridger Enterprises, Ascent Vision, and the City of Bozeman, Montana, along with other sponsors identified at: http://www.BridgerCup.com.
The entry fee is $15 and the filmmaker will be provided a filmmaker page where they connect with fellow filmmakers and audiences. Filmmakers who submit their short films have a chance to win cash prizes. Submissions start July 29, 2015. You have until September 05, 2015 to complete and submit your video.Voting opens on September 12, 2015 at The Audience Awards.
There will be two echelons of prizes to be awarded and recognized at the Bridger Cup Drone Film Festival. The first will be Jury Awards. The Jury Awards will be selected by an esteemed panel of judges and given to two films. The 1st place winner will receive a new drone from Quadrocopter LLC valued at $500. The second place winner will receive $100.
The second round of awards will be the People’s Choice Awards. This will be based upon the total votes received during the on-line competition on the Audience Awards website. The top 3 most voted films will win cash prizes from the Bridger Cup. The 1st place winner will receive $250, 2nd place $100 and 3rd place $50.
Submitting films to The Audience Awards give filmmakers the needed exposure to help their filmmaking career. The Audience Awards provides a unique opportunity in the form of press and social media engagement unlike anywhere else.
