Montanan, a magazine published by the University of Montana which tracks the happenings of their alumni, recently caught up with Audience Awards CEO Paige Williams about the inception of the organization and some of the ideas going forward. The article covers everything from Williams’ track record as a filmmaker, including the recent green light from PBS to launch a series called Art Montana based on her recent film, to some of the reasons behind launching The Audience Awards.
To sum up the spirit of the whole process, Williams concludes, “When an audience member gets to discover a film they would never have seen otherwise—a film that lasted five minutes that changed their perspective—that’s priceless.”
