Who are you and what’s your filmmaking background?
I am primarily a musician but have recently begun producing music videos.
What are you working on right now?
I just completed a video with Mystic Bowie (formerly the lead singer of the Tom Tom Club) and am working on a new video to support the release of my new CD.
What are you promoting?
Right now I am promoting our music video Jet which is a reggae remake of Paul McCartney’s hit song.
What do you want the audience to take away from your films?
I hope that the audience will feel all the love and energy that we put into the project and just feel all the happiness and joy that it omits.
What’s your favorite story from filmmaking?
Working with the children on the video was a wonderful experience and seeing the chemistry between Mystic, the children and the director was really inspiring. They all were so incredibly talented.
What are your wildest dreams for your filmmaking career?
I learned that I am very comfortable and very good at producing music videos. I hope to continue producing my own videos as well as other people’s.
What is something bizarre about you?
Being a lead singer in a rock band for as long as I have, and still not enjoying the attention.
What currently inspires you?
Writing new songs for my CD and fleshing out ideas for my new video.
What’s your best advice for an aspiring filmmaker?
As with anything that you want to do in life, always give 110 percent and remember to have fun with it.
