How did you get inspired to become a filmmaker?

I love the art of cinematography as a unique form of expression.

What is your favorite part about the short film form?

The challenge to tell a story in a short period of time.

Who were the people that supported the making of this film?

Family members and friends.

What resources do you use as a filmmaker? Music, locations, props, editing, crew, etc.

Locations and sounds.

What is your next project?

To make a sync sound Super 8 feature length film.

The independent film business is a difficult one. What keeps you motivated? Where do you see the industry going in the future?

Today’s technology allows anybody to make a film. The internet is already the future.

Which filmmakers, artists or individuals have most influenced your work?

Mexican cinematographer Gabriel Figueroa.

What advice would you give new filmmakers?

Don’t give up.
