March 1, 2016

The Champions A Documentary film by Darcy Dennett screened at the 13th annual Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, where Darcy sat down for an interview with AudTV.

Director and Producer Darcy Dennett has worked in photography, film, and television for twenty years. She began as a camera-assistant in still photography and motion pictures, and went on to build a successful career making documentaries as a director, cinematographer, producer and writer. Armed with an unusually diverse skill-set, Darcy is passionate about her work, and enjoys tackling sensitive and challenging subject matter.

In The Champions All odds were stacked against the pit-bulls rescued from quarterback Michael Vick’s dogfighting ring. Forced to fight for their lives, they were considered so dangerous that many wanted them euthanized.  But no one could have predicted how the dogs would change the lives of those who risked everything to save them.
