How did you get inspired to become a filmmaker?
Early on watching documentaries on my favorite bands and music legends like the Doors and Jimi Hendrix. I loved horror films, comedies and John Hughes films big time.

What is your favorite part about the short film form?
The challenge of telling a story cohesively and artistically in short time frame.
Who were the people that supported the making of this film?
DJs, Producers, sound healers, sound engineers, sound scientists, community, friends, family.
What resources do you use as a filmmaker? Music, locations, props, editing, crew, etc.
Music, locations, equipment, every resource possible to make the art in mind.
What is your next project?
Creating a Heart Beat healing center as well as to create more films with awareness and inspiration as Heart Beat will do.
The independent film business is a difficult one. What keeps you motivated? Where do you see the industry going in the future?
What keeps me motivated is the art of expression. Being able to have a fresh palate of life imitating art and art imitating life. So much to capture and show the world that you can be inspired majorly but seeing something for the first time that may change your life forever. Wake you up to new ideas and consciousness.
Which filmmakers, artists or individuals have most influenced your work?
DJs, electronic music, classical, jazz, reggae, blues, rock, classic rock. Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Frank Sinatra, Ella fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Conrad Hall, Tarantino, Dali, etc.

What advice would you give new filmmakers?
Always try something new and focus on an area or subject you really love. Make it your passion and make it fun. We aren’t saving the world or curing cancer but being creative and adventurous.
