Staff pick film, Luchitas-D, directed by Diego Arrendondo, competed in the Pro8MM On-line One Roll Super8 Film Challenge.
In Luchitas-D, two Luchadores, Player 1 (Genoma Maligno) and Player 2 (El Mistico) face off in an arcade style battle on Super8 film.
Director Diego Arrendondo was born in Mexico City and went on to graduate with an MA degree at The London Film School and an Art Degree at Central Saint Martins. His short films, Heel and Tequila Chamuco were finalists in the Straight 8 competition at Cannes Film Festival in 2004 and 2005. Diego is currently working as a freelance commercial and music video in Barcelona.
