Audience Awards Staff Pick: Sudden Death! Directed by Adam Hall

June 7, 2018

This week’s Audience Awards’ staff pick film is Sudden Death! directed by Adam Hall. Los Angeles has been overtaken by a strange and deadly disease. It only has one symptom before the infected die suddenly…they spontaneously break into well-choreographed song and dance!

Adam Hall is an award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Hall’s journey to becoming a filmmaker was a unique one, starting off with receiving a bachelor’s degree in political science. After a summer working at the US Capitol, he determined that the world of politics was not his calling and opted for a new path. Hall moved to Los Angeles and was accepted into the graduate film production program at the University of Southern California. His film Sudden Death! was his thesis film and went on to play at over 80 film festivals and win 50 awards.

Sudden Death! has a star-studded cast including Doug Jones, Matt Lutz and Autumn Hurlbert (to name a few!) See if a cure can be found or maybe you’ll break out in song too. Only time will tell!
