“I am a Director at an upcoming production company in Tucson Arizona. We began to refer to ourselves as Dog Days seeing that we came together in those sweltering days of summer and by nature of being young struggle in this period of transition. We took on this project together because we believed in the support of our community and wanted to make something that offered the creative freedom to be happy with our content.
Winning the Audience prize offers validation, validation that what I work towards is being noticed and the community that fostered me can be proud of that process.
I will be using the prize to do what everyone at Dog Days is trying to do, Pay Rent and Make More Films!”

“As a member of the Screen Actors Guild since 2003, I’ve developed a love for entertainment on film. Having been in numerous commercials, films and made for TV movies, I’ve finally decided to try my hand in film.
This is the second contest that I’ve competed in with the Audience Awards and I had such a great experience the first time, that I decided to give it another try. I plan on sharpening my skills and trying yet again!
Winning this prize means a great deal to me. The support of my friends and family was overwhelming. I really think that I am growing and learning a lot more in terms of making movies. I know that I still have a lot to learn, but the Audience Awards are pushing me to try new things.
I’m going to buy my husband and children X-Doria cases for all of our devices!”

Winning the Jury award is a good thing, however, it makes me more hungry to win the next competition I enter.I will use the $500 to buy more equipment for my film company Capture Me production.”
