What is a Filmstro soundtrack license?
Filmstro is the same product whichever license one purchases. The different licenses cover different exploitation of the same product. The value to the filmmaker is that they can create a soundtrack that truly supports and enhances their picture for a fraction of the cost of achieving similar results with dedicated composition and recording. We decided that this license was the most appropriate for Audience Awards entrants as it will likely help them on their next steps after winning.
What are the uses and rules of the license?
The tracks that constitute the soundtrack are covered worldwide and in perpetuity for the film and any trailers deriving from it. The license is restricted to that project alone. If a tv series based on the film were to be commissioned using music from the film, the appropriate license would need to be purchased. See Terms and Conditions
