In this week’s Audience Awards staff pick film, Fill Your Heart With French Fries, directed by Tamar Glezerman, a woman gets dumped by her girlfriend at a fast food joint, and, too sad to go home, just stays there for a week.
Originally from Tel-Aviv, Tamar Glezerman is a writer and director currently based in Brooklyn. Glezerman’s work can be found featured in The New-York Times, NPR, Ha’aretz, LOGO, CoolHunting, Refinery29, Nowness and MSNBC (to name a few). Tamar has edited and consulted on films that have screened at Sundance, Berlinale, DOC NYC, and other prestigious international festivals. To round it all off, her work on Bob Dylan’s interactive video, Like a Rolling Stone was named music video of the year by Time Magazine and received an editing Webby award.
Fill Your Heart With French Fries has been viewed over 600,000 times online and was chosen as a Vimeo Staff Pick. The film was also named the 2018 Comedy of the Year on Short of the Week.
